Dubai flights update: Key airline suspensions, resumptions and travel changes you need to know
Passengers urged to check flight status before travelling
DUBAI – A reduced flight schedule remains in place at Dubai International Airport as airlines continue to respond to ongoing regional airspace restrictions.
Carriers operating to and from Dubai have issued updated travel advisories, with several suspending services while others resume limited or ad hoc operations.
The situation remains fluid, with airlines closely monitoring developments and adjusting schedules in real time. Passengers are being advised to check their flight status before travelling, as last-minute changes remain possible across multiple routes.
Emirates
Emirates is gradually restoring its global network, currently operating flights to 125 destinations, compared to 140 prior to the disruption. The airline continues to run a reduced schedule following the partial reopening of regional airspace.
The carrier has indicated that a full return to operations is expected in the coming days, subject to airspace availability and operational requirements. Bookings remain open based on availability, with earlier reservations being prioritised.
Passengers travelling until April 30 are eligible for rebooking up to June 15, refunds, or one free date change for bookings made from April 2. The airline continues to operate across key regions including Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, with cities such as London, New York, Sydney, Mumbai and Karachi included in its current network.
Air France
Air France has extended the suspension of all Dubai flights until April 19 inclusive. The return service scheduled for April 20 has also been cancelled.
Affected passengers have been notified and are eligible to postpone or cancel their trips free of charge, regardless of whether their flight was cancelled.
Air India
Air India and Air India Express are operating ad hoc services between India and the UAE, with 32 scheduled and non-scheduled flights across West Asia on April 7, including 16 to and from the UAE.
Flights are operating on select routes such as Delhi–Dubai and Mangalore–Dubai, while additional services connect Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and other regional airports to Indian cities. However, no regular scheduled operations are currently running to Dubai, with services dependent on slot availability and regulatory approvals.
Passengers affected by cancellations can rebook at no extra cost or request full refunds. The airline group confirmed that long-haul flights to North America, Europe and Australia continue as scheduled.
British Airways
British Airways has suspended all flights to Dubai, along with routes to Amman, Bahrain and Tel Aviv, until May 31.
Customers can rebook with alternative carriers, change travel dates or request refunds for bookings made up to October 31.
China Southern Airlines
China Southern Airlines resumed selected services from Guangzhou and Shenzhen to Dubai in March. Travellers are advised to verify schedules and flight details directly with the airline, as operations remain subject to real-time updates.
IndiGo
IndiGo is operating select flights to the region, with passengers urged to monitor notifications and confirm flight status before heading to the airport. The airline reiterated its focus on safety across all operations.
KLM
KLM has suspended all Dubai services until May 17. Affected travellers can rebook free of charge or request refunds via the airline’s booking system.
Lufthansa Group
Lufthansa and its associated carriers, including SWISS, Austrian Airlines and ITA Airways, have suspended flights to Dubai until at least May 31 due to reduced airport capacity.
Eurowings has extended its suspension further, with services halted until October 24. Eligible passengers holding tickets issued before March 1 may request refunds depending on their travel dates.
Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways has resumed a limited schedule, although flights between Doha and Dubai remain suspended.

Qatar Airways has published its latest revised schedule, reflecting the gradual increase in flights to and from Doha reaching more than 120 destinations by mid-May 2026, across Qatar Airways’ global network.

Passengers with bookings until June 15 can opt for two complimentary date changes or request refunds for unused tickets.
Philippine Airlines
Philippine Airlines has suspended its Manila–Dubai–Manila route until at least April 30. Rebooking and refund options are available for affected travellers.
Singapore Airlines
Singapore Airlines has cancelled its Singapore–Dubai services (SQ494/495) until May 31. Passengers are being reaccommodated on alternative flights or offered refunds.
Turkish Airlines
Turkish Airlines is offering flexible rebooking, refunds and ticket extensions for passengers booked between February 28 and April 30, with requests accepted until June 10.
United Airlines
United Airlines has confirmed disruptions to its Dubai services until June 15. Travellers can reschedule without change fees or request refunds, depending on their ticket conditions.
